Sunrise of Issaquah is a five story assisted living and memory care community in scenic Issaquah Washington. The site has an extreme slope across the length of the building spanning almost 35’. The building is perched on a steep slope overlooking the North fork of the Issaquah Creek with views of the waterfall. A number of challenging site and geotechnical conditions led to a unique foundation and retaining system consisting of a combination of soldier piles, soil nails, spread footings, pin piles, and a Hilfiker wall system. Construction is currently under way and the project is expected to be completed by the end of 2019.
