In order to remain as the "provider of choice" in long term care in Kentucky, Christian Care Communities of Louisville commissioned Wattenbarger Architects to reposition an existing continuing care community in Bowling Green. To achieve this goal includes adding pieces missing from the continuum of care, such as patio homes and independent apartments, alzheimer's care and assisted living, changing both operationally and physically how skilled nursing is delivered, and adding a wellness center, theater, chapel, varied dining venues and other amenities to the commons that becomes the new campus center.
